Goa's young Innovator's Award was launched on 14^th Feb 2019 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Manohar Parrikar. The competition was launched in two categories:

Category 1: For Students from standard 8^th to 10^th &

Category 2: For Students from standard 5^th to 7^th

The total number of projects received were 98 from the schools in the State of Goa.

The number of projects from Category 1: 54 

The number of projects from Category 2: 44

The assessment of projects was on the following Criteria:

• Idea generation
• Scalability &
• Innovative Approach
• Prototype

The Judges for the finals were:

• Dr Neena Panandikar Principal, Don Bosco College Of Engineering
• Dr Mridula Goel Faculty-In Charge, Birac Bionest , Bits Pilani
• Prof Raghuveer Vernekar, Chairman - GCCI - Edu comm
• Mrs Suwarna Surlekar, Director- Codewell Computers.

GSInC will provide mentoring and other facilities to the finalist.
