Idea(s) are the core of startups. Occasionally one can hear grievances about idea being poached. Normally young innovators who develops an idea, lacks access to resources to quickly convert it into a prototype/ product. Many a time S/he discloses the idea to someone but fails to get a positive reply and are later disappointed to learn that somebody else has successfully developed a prototype/ product using the same idea and data.

It is believed that ideas without implementation strategy are non-ideas and hence will not get purloined. However, it would be objective to view innovative idea and its implementation strategy as boat and oar respectively. ;As a proactive intervention to ensure fair turf and support the innovative ideas, we have initiated a Virtual Innovation Register(VIR). It will provide innovators an opportunity to register their ideas and source the required support to achieve the expected results. VIR will also function as innovation souk where innovators can display prototypes and talk directly to prospective buyers.
