Faculty Development Program 2.0

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is designed to train and develop faculties in entrepreneurship development so that they can act as resource persons in guiding and motivating young S&T persons to take up entrepreneurship as a career. Through each FDP, faculty members of Science and Engineering colleges, Polytechnics, Industrial Training, Science, Commerce, Arts, etc are trained.
The FDPs provide inputs on process and practice of entrepreneurship development, communication and inter-personal skills, creativity, problem solving, motivation training, inputs on available resources and supporting industries. The training methodology includes case studies, hands on workhops , team exercises and interactions with entrepreneurs, government officials and industry persons.Â
The objective of the FDP aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for inculcating entrepreneurial values in students and guiding and supporting their progress towards entrepreneurship. Creating jobs and innovations will help address societal needs through science and technology and provide exciting opportunities to empower the youth.
